Murray Anderson Creek Drain Rehabilitation
Work is underway to repair a section of stormwater drain in Rosebud that runs from the corner of Murray-Anderson & Point Nepean Road to the foreshore boardwalk.
This work is being undertaken by the Pipelines Alliance on behalf of Melbourne Water. It involves replacing sections of the drain under Point Nepean Road and through the Murray-Anderson Car Park so that the drain operates effectively and does not become a safety risk.
Construction began in June and is expected to be complete in September 2010.
We are working closely with Mornington Peninsula Shire, VicRoads, the Rosebud Chamber of Commerce, Rosebud Foreshore Advisory Committee and others to ensure the community is kept informed of this project and issues can be understood and addressed.
