Land Development Manual
The Land Development Manual aims to provide developers with information that will enable self-assessment of most of Melbourne Water's standard requirements. In many instances, developers must comply with our requirements, so it’s important to know what these requirements are prior to commencing works.
- If charges apply to your development, the Land Development Manual can be used to estimate what these may be.
- If, as a condition of your development, Melbourne Water requires you to provide drainage and/or stormwater quality infrastructure, the Land Development Manual outlines what is expected of developers when providing this infrastructure. Both guidelines and detailed requirements are available.
Developers can register to be notified by email whenever the Land Development Manual is updated.
